Major Auto-Hemotherapy (MAH)

What is MAH?

Major Auto-Hemotherapy (MAH); Primary method for systemic and vascular applications.

How is the procedure done?

Blood is withdrawn from the patient into a bag or bottle containing an anticoagulant. Solution is added to the bag. Ozone is then injected into the bag such that the ozone touches the blood before it contacts the bag. The treated blood is returned to the patient.

MAH-Ozone activates Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cell (PBMC) which are mainly made up of Lymphocytes (T cells, B cells, NK cells) and Monocytes, and also actives Red blood Cell. Bocci V, Luzzi E, et al. Biotherapy. 7;83-90, 1994
